Journal Aug. 30

I am excited about participating in this leadership course because it will give me the opportunity to meet everyone. I feel like the ditzy high school drama queen when I say that but it is true. Last spring semester I participated in a leadership course called "Lessons in Leadership and Civil Responciblities" and I believe that the best thing that I got were the friendships that were made. This course will be requiring more participation but I know that it will only help us. This will be my third year at Weber State durning the summer I had much time to reflect on what I wanted from my University Expierence. I have set many goals and have decided to partcipate as much as possible on campus.

Chris,
I think it's great you are getting as involved as possible on campus. Also, can you post your http on the class website under the welcome section so we know where to find your blog! Thanks,

Anna

Chris,
I'm glad you argued with the first leadership challenge question. I think an important aspect of a leader is one who questions what previous people have said. Also, your response to the second question offered a good insight when you said the group should be able to function when the leader leaves. Very important.
